[SPEEDFEST 2023 SPE UPN SC] International Case Study Competition

SPE Education Festival (SPEEDFEST) is the biggest annual event held by the SPE UPNVY Student Chapter. The SPEEDFEST 2023 International Case Study Competition is the right forum for students to improve their ability to analyze problems regarding cases given comprehensively and with knowledge. Each team will be given challenges in the form of case related to unconventional oil and gas, especially in the upstream and downstream sectors. From this case, participants are allowed to present effective and efficient solutions in resolving cases given with valid and accurate data. This competition aims to train students to think critically and analytically and improve the skills needed to solve problems effectively.

GENERAL RULES

• International Case Study Competition SPEEDFEST 2023 is open to all undergraduate students from various universities in the world.
• Each university can send any number of teams to the essay selection stage but only a maximum of 2 teams from each university will advance to the final stage.
• Each team consists of a maximum of 3 (three) people and may consist of individuals from various departments at the same university.
• The competition consists of two main stages: preliminary stage (essay selection) and final stage (case report presentation).
• The content of the essay must be related to the theme.
• The top six teams selected with the best essays will move on to the final stage.
• The final stage will be an open presentation coordinated by the committee using certain rules and regulations.
• Each team will be given 15 minutes for a presentation session followed by 45 minutes

• The top three teams with the highest scores will be declared the winners of the competition.
• All communications, presentations and documents must be submitted in English.
• Plagiarism, cheating, or any rule violation with proof will result in disqualification.
• The jury's decision is final and cannot be changed or contested under any circumstances
